HowardCattleCo has been in the Charolais ranching business since 1994, when Jay Howard moved his family from Arizona to Colorado. Jay was born in South Western Arizona and began his ranching career as a young boy, trotting behind his Dad, Ray Howard on a big gelding named Killer. The ranches that his family managed were rough and covered territory over 60 sections. Their family brand, the backwards RC was first introduced into the ranching industry over 60 years ago, when Ray Howard began raising Herefords in SW Arizona. Today, Jay Howard, his wife Vickie of 40 years their children, spouces and 11 grandchildren are active in the family ranching business. The Howard's raise all natural Charolais beef.
